After 6 minutes, Philipp Drechsler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Javvy and the Power Vienna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Till Bünder made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peer Kothe during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Sill made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Robin Ludwig immediately put the ball in play. If Till Bünder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Bernhardt Opgen-Rhein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Javvy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Power Vienna the free kick. After 75 played minutes FC Javvy got a freekick which was hit by Bernhardt Opgen-Rhein. Roland Ivanschitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Till Bünder in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Peer Kothe notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Power Vienna's Gernot Hülsmann. Gernot Hülsmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
