An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaas Haas in the 6th minute of play forced FC Thüringen's goalkeeper Ralf Mallinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Mallinger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Böggemann's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Walter Böggemann in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ralf Mallinger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ralf Mallinger was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Klaas Haas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Klaas Haas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 17th minute, Sebastian Dirkes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Rafael Haas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Korneuburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Haas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walter Böggemann in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ralf Mallinger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ralf Mallinger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Böggemann went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, CF Korneuburg's Walter Böggemann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. FC Thüringen's Ralf Mallinger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Thüringen from getting a goal against them. Walter Böggemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Mallinger having to interfere. In the 39th minute Christian Schuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Mallinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Thüringen getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Claus Schwärzler hit a great ball. Walter Böggemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Mallinger having to interfere. After 43rd play minutes Walter Böggemann shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Ralf Mallinger and just under the crossbar into goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Walter Böggemann made the kick off in the second half. Ralf Mallinger came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by CF Korneuburg's Lucas Hastenteufel. But to his dismay, Lucas Hastenteufel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Ralf Mallinger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Böggemann's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. If Walter Böggemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Böggemann in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralf Mallinger saved FC Thüringen from getting behind. Lucas Hastenteufel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Mallinger having to interfere. With 66 minutes on the clock, Sebastian Dirkes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CF Korneuburg! When CF Korneuburg's Walter Böggemann in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Walter Böggemann sped through FC Thüringen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ralf Mallinger. Timo Austerer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claus Schwärzler, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. FC Thüringen were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after CF Korneuburg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Bleicher took the corner. The audience was convinced that Walter Böggemann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Mallinger was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CF Korneuburg had played much better football throughout.
