F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's Ulrich-Jürgen Sittarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Schwärzler in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Schwärzler came free, but Ulrich-Jürgen Sittarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Timo Schlagbauer sped through FC Thüringen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ralf Mallinger. Timo Schlagbauer might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralf Mallinger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timo Schlagbauer was the one to do the kick off. Ulrich-Jürgen Sittarz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Gagelmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timo Schlagbauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Mallinger having to interfere. After a rather tough play, F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's Jan Gogolok got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's Florian Faber seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Florian Faber the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C CAN BÄCKEREI protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Florian Faber had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 74 minutes into the game, one of F.C CAN BÄCKEREI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ulrich-Jürgen Sittarz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Gagelmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ralf Mallinger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in FC Thüringen's zone, 盛世 曹操 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Mallinger came out of the goal and 盛世 曹操 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Thüringen's Harald Gerber got a free kick in the 97th minute.
