Göksel Müfit helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes F.C. Augsburg 1907 got a freekick which was hit by Göksel Müfit. Achim Meyers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Keuken in the 24th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Zingler made a kick off. After 50 played minutes FC Ronaldo got a freekick which was hit by Jens Herz. F.C. Augsburg 1907's Kai-Uwe Themel got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 52 played minutes F.C. Augsburg 1907 got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Haase. F.C. Augsburg 1907's Achim Meyers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Augsburg 1907 from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the game, one of FC Ronaldo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mikolaj Czerwinski had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Christopher Trautermann's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jürgen Rössler in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Achim Meyers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jürgen Rössler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Achim Meyers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Zingler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Zingler in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikolaj Czerwinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 played minutes, F.C. Augsburg 1907's Bernhard Zukrigl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mikolaj Czerwinski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. Augsburg 1907 reached it. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Göksel Müfit put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mikolaj Czerwinski. Mikolaj Czerwinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göksel Müfit in the 83rd minute of play. Mikolaj Czerwinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Zingler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Dennis Zingler notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Ronaldo's Mikolaj Czerwinski. Mikolaj Czerwinski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the game, F.C. Augsburg 1907's Göksel Müfit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikolaj Czerwinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 92 minutes into the match, FC Ronaldo's goal looked a bit too open when Kai-Uwe Themel came free, but Mikolaj Czerwinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikolaj Czerwinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Zingler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ronaldo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
