Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roland Hens got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, FC Żywiec's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis-Sven Strobl came free, but Steven Schuster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Glashoch Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Lenz. When FC Żywiec's Roland Hens in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glashoch Rangers's goalie prevented a goal. After 16 minutes of play, FC Żywiec's Hans-Dieter Kolb made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steffen Partsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Żywiec's Roland Unterberger got a free kick in the 19th minute. Steven Schuster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis-Sven Strobl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascal Fabisch kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Roland Hens struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Steffen Partsch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Żywiec. In the 34th minute, Bernd Ballik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steffen Partsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Hens, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Roland Hens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Żywiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Hens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, FC Żywiec's goalkeeper Steven Schuster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis-Sven Strobl. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Dennis-Sven Strobl made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Żywiec's Björn Weiss got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dennis Neumann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Steven Schuster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steven Schuster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis-Sven Strobl in the 59th minute of play. Roland Hens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Partsch having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Roland Hens managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Żywiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Hens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steffen Partsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Pascal Fabisch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Żywiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glashoch Rangers the free kick. The supporters of Glashoch Rangers booed when FC Żywiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Fabisch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Roland Hens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernd Ballik kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
