Linsberg FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Daniel Hagedorn scored to the left of an out of position Torsten Ström, making the score, 2-0. 13 minutes into the game, Rapid Wien's Shi Yuan Qi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 16th minute, Daniel Hagedorn fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 17th minute, Rapid Wien's Werner Frach ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Torsten Ström. Torsten Ström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Torsten Ström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Linsberg FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Torben Lambacher hit a great ball. Linsberg FC's Torsten Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Linsberg FC from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Rapid Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Kohler came free, but Alf Tempel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Rapid Wien's Daniel Hagedorn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Torsten Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Hagedorn, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Alf Tempel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Lack in the 34th minute of the match. Torsten Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Hagedorn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Matzkies kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Kohler during the 42nd minute. Torsten Ström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Fausto Montel sped through Linsberg FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torsten Ström. 53 minutes into the game, Rapid Wien's Daniel Hagedorn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Torsten Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erol Santika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Montel in the 58th minute of play. 10-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Daniel Hagedorn elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Torsten Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Yuan Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Shi Yuan Qi scored 11-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Ström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rapid Wien's Lars Reicher was substituted for Andreas Olejarz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Yuan Qi in the 72nd minute of play forced Linsberg FC's goalkeeper Torsten Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Montel took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Ström. Torsten Ström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. In the 78th minute Erol Santika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Kraft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Ström having to interfere. Rapid Wien made a substitution. Sergio Skoczylas replaced Daniel Hagedorn. Torsten Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Skoczylas in the 83rd minute of play. Torsten Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erol Santika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Ström came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Wien's Sergio Skoczylas. But to his dismay, Sergio Skoczylas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Rapid Wien walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
