Spectators: 9374 (Terracing: 7032, Seating: 2156, VIP seats: 186) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Loukianos Staikos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stefan Neubrandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Kaltenbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Loukianos Staikos managed to get in a good position for a shot. International Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Loukianos Staikos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Stuber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Daxenbach FSV's zone, Loukianos Staikos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Stuber came out of the goal and Loukianos Staikos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Timo Kaltenbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daxenbach FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timo Kaltenbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Daxenbach FSV's goalkeeper Julian Stuber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand. Robert Teuwen lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, International Thunders's Carlo Gerick got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Julian Stuber. Loukianos Staikos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Stuber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the last second Julian Stuber throw himself and got hold of the ball when Loukianos Staikos in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, International Thunders's Rodrigo Ferdinand got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Klaus Pahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Stefan Neubrandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the match International Thunders got a corner. Daxenbach FSV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlo Gerick ran over to the corner to take the kick. 39 minutes into the match, Daxenbach FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Loukianos Staikos came free, but Julian Stuber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Stuber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaan Aktürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. International Thunders were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Daxenbach FSV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlo Gerick took the corner. The supporters of Daxenbach FSV booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaan Aktürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Timo Kaltenbach fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Daxenbach FSV's protests and gave Timo Kaltenbach a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Timo Kaltenbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timo Kaltenbach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gernot Kellner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Stuber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Staikos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Stuber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukianos Staikos, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Carlo Gerick got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julian Stuber quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 57 minutes into the match, Daxenbach FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Ferdinand came free, but Julian Stuber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Loukianos Staikos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Stuber. Daxenbach FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loukianos Staikos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 73 minutes of play, International Thunders's Loukianos Staikos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Stuber was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daxenbach FSV's goalkeeper Julian Stuber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raimundas Baleika kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. International Thunders made a substitution. Mario Moser replaced Oskar Vahlberg. After a rather tough play, International Thunders's Raimundas Baleika got a free kick in the 81st minute. Stefan Neubrandt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timo Kaltenbach in the 82nd minute. Daxenbach FSV were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after International Thunders's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukas Josten took the corner. The audience was convinced that Damian Trac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Stuber was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Damian Trac made a precise shot to the right of Julian Stuber. Daxenbach FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. There was no doubt that International Thunders were the better team. International Thunders's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
