After 12 minutes of play, International Thunders's Kaan Aktürk made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Tiggelkamp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan Eckardt's late challenge caught a International Thunders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Eckardt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FV Wienerwald Clube getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jan Eckardt hit a great ball. Tom Tiggelkamp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FV Wienerwald Clube defense, Loukianos Staikos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Tiggelkamp. The FV Wienerwald Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Tiggelkamp should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Loukianos Staikos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Tiggelkamp. FV Wienerwald Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loukianos Staikos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 31 minutes into the match, Tibor Bäuschlein notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FV Wienerwald Clube's Tom Tiggelkamp. Tom Tiggelkamp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute Loukianos Staikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Tiggelkamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Tiggelkamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Bäuschlein in the 45th minute of play. If Loukianos Staikos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Loukianos Staikos made the kick off in the second half. Tom Tiggelkamp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 52nd minute. Tom Tiggelkamp was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tibor Bäuschlein showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 53 minute of play. Rodrigo Ferdinands short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Tom Tiggelkamp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tom Tiggelkamp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Till Tarnat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Gerick, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kilian Braun in the 67th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Stefan Neubrandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loukianos Staikos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Tiggelkamp having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Ferdinand notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of FV Wienerwald Clube's Tom Tiggelkamp. Tom Tiggelkamp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd match minute, FV Wienerwald Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Till Tarnat to maneuver through the defense. International Thunders's Jonathan Soon was substituted for Loukianos Staikos. After 74 played minutes FV Wienerwald Clube got a freekick which was hit by Till Tarnat. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Jonathan Soon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 92 minutes into the game, Damian Trac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tom Tiggelkamp. Damian Trac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. In the 96th minute, Kaan Aktürk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tom Tiggelkamp. The goal made the score 0-14. International Thunders played a much better game than FV Wienerwald Clube and deserved their victory. The FV Wienerwald Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
