Rapid Wien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Hagedorn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Shi Yuan Qi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapid Wien fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 0-5 became the score in the 24th minute when Daniel Hagedorn elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fausto Montel scored 0-6 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Wegmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Fausto Montel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Wegmann was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. SV Gerasdorf's Mario Wegmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Yuan Qi in the 49th minute of play.

The wind increased when Fausto Montel made the kick off in the second half. Fausto Montel succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8. Daniel Hagedorn had several of the SV Gerasdorf's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Mario Wegmann as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fausto Montel came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mario Wegmann could save by the left post. Fausto Montel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Mario Wegmann made a huge save. Rapid Wien's Lars Reicher was substituted for Andreas Olejarz. After 68 minutes SV Gerasdorf's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Hagedorn who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Hagedorn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mario Wegmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mario Wegmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Montel in the 70th minute. Albert Kraft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Wegmann having to interfere. Fausto Montel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mario Wegmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rapid Wien's attack was well implemented in the 88th minute, but when Fausto Montel was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.
