The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daxenbach FSV's Julian Stuber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Lack in the 14th minute of play. Daxenbach FSV were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Linsberg FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukas Josten took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikolaj Lichucki made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Daxenbach FSV's Oliver Brückner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Stefan Lack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Julian Stuber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Daxenbach FSV's Timo Kaltenbach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliver Brückner during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oliver Brückner hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Daxenbach FSV booed when Linsberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis-Maurice Kalleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 minutes Linsberg FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lukas Josten who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Daxenbach FSV's corner Lukas Josten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Torsten Ström quite easily take care of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Linsberg FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Daxenbach FSV.
