The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Arbogast got free with Yuan Lei Jing in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, BiBa's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Lachenicht came free, but Kai-Uwe Bartek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Leo Pietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai-Uwe Bartek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kai-Uwe Bartek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Freestylers defense, Tomé Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuan Lei Jing. The Freestylers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuan Lei Jing should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Leo Pietro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, BiBa's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Pietro came free, but Kai-Uwe Bartek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
