With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Daja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikoll Vato during the 34th minute. Parid Rrapi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Parid Rrapi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kukur's Dorian Daja did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Margel Qyra got free with Fartan Lumani in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Progër were furious when Bardhyl Demaci was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Progër! Imet Jonuzi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Argjend Shiku was the one to do the kick off. Argjend Shiku struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Fartan Lumani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kukur. Mirald Çarçani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Dorian Daja made a huge save. Albion Angjeli hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Fartan Lumani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Margel Qyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 97th minute of the match Fidan Pilinxhi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fartan Lumani skillfully saved the ball. 99 minutes into the match, Progër's goal looked a bit too open when Argjend Shiku came free, but Fartan Lumani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
