Arbi Boja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nard Blacëri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Durrës KS's Pjeter Rexhepi got a free kick in the 27th minute. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, Durrës KS's Argetim Emini got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nard Blacëri. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
