After a defensive mix-up in Kukësi FK's zone, Klodian Sofi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Shenaj came out of the goal and Klodian Sofi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Platin Bisha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geraldo Shenaj. Kukësi FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Klodian Sofis short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Geraldo Shenaj to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Klodian Sofi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Geraldo Shenaj skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 37 played minutes Ungrej got a freekick which was hit by Vejsel Olldashi. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Vilson Babasuli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kukësi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilson Babasuli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shpati Kafka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vilson Babasuli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shpati Kafka having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petraq Lufi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Latif Hasa struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Geraldo Shenaj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ungrej. After a rather tough play, Kukësi FK's Ilirian Fakaj got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Vilson Babasuli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ungrej booed when Kukësi FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadri Lazellari didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Latif Hasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Shenaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Latif Hasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klodian Sofi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Geraldo Shenaj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klodian Sofi in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Shenaj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geraldo Shenaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klodian Sofi in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Ilirian Fakaj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kukësi FK and the Ungrej players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Kukësi FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilirian Fakaj to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Shenaj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klodian Sofi's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Latif Hasa in the 83rd minute of play forced Kukësi FK's goalkeeper Geraldo Shenaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Latif Hasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Shenaj having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Shenaj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ungrej's Klodian Sofi in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kukësi FK's goalie prevented a goal. If Latif Hasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ungrej's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
