In the 19th minute, Mustafa Remziu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaup Guxholli struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Zani Tapa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Starova. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neritian Llakmani during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zani Tapa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaup Guxholli's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Jaup Guxholli struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Zani Tapa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Starova. 28 minutes into the match, Howden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaup Guxholli came free, but Zani Tapa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Howden FC! The audience thought a goal was coming when Eneo Nufi got free with Zani Tapa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 46 minutes, Eneo Nufi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Starova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eneo Nufi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hajdar Loshi was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Howden FC defense, Eneo Nufi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zani Tapa. The Howden FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zani Tapa should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Eneo Nufi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Starova's supporters rose to their feet, but Eneo Nufi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zani Tapa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eneo Nufi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Zani Tapa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaup Guxholli in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zani Tapa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eneo Nufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Jaup Guxholli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The attack was good, but when Jaup Guxholli in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eneo Nufi in the 86th minute of play forced Howden FC's goalkeeper Zani Tapa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Howden FC's Ibrahim Tole threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Neritian Llakmani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
