Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artan Gozhdari started the match with the kick off. Artan Gozhdari succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Bektash Xaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idlir Brahja having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artan Gozhdari in the 20th minute of play forced Lunxhëri's goalkeeper Idlir Brahja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lunxhëri's zone, Artan Gozhdari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Idlir Brahja came out of the goal and Artan Gozhdari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Lefter Gazi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lunxhëri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papër the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Lunxhëri:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Papër:s goal. The referee gave Papër a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nikoll Hamolli, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lunxhëri's Idlir Brahja. 1-2. Liri Beqaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Shkëlzen Lika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shkëlzen Lika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Gjoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Idlir Brahja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bektash Xaka's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Aulin Boba charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aulin Boba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Aulin Boba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shkëlzen Lika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amir Gjoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amir Gjoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Amir Gjoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shkëlzen Lika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lunxhëri booed when Papër was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veton Spahiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Papër's Shkëlzen Lika played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donaldi Kovaçi in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Lunxhëri booed when Papër was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xhemal Shaho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Amir Gjoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shkëlzen Lika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lunxhëri getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lefter Gazi hit a great ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Artan Gozhdari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papër's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artan Gozhdari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artan Gozhdari in the 77th minute of play forced Lunxhëri's goalkeeper Idlir Brahja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Amir Gjoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amir Gjoza in the 92nd minute of play forced Papër's goalkeeper Shkëlzen Lika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
