The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Mandi Çeka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fisnik Sadikaj was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Bashkim Shulku came out of the goal and Valmir Kotorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Valmir Kotorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bashkim Shulku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valmir Kotorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Astrit Grabocka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The wind increased when Mandi Çeka made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kuçova SK booed when Hoçisht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Musa Rusi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fisnik Sadikaj acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eni Dibra. After 59 minutes, Musa Rusi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoçisht and the Kuçova SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kuçova SK booed when Hoçisht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Musa Rusi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuçova SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kelsi Buna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kelsi Buna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fisnik Sadikaj came out and tried to block the shot, but Kelsi Buna slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 82nd minute. If Musa Rusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fisnik Sadikaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mandi Çeka in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ernest Sejdini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoçisht's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Sejdini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bashkim Shulku breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bashkim Shulku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Musa Rusi in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kuçova SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
