Debatik Zogu started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Elbasan FK booed when Durrësi SKsfd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neritian Llakmani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Nasti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Debatik Zogu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Elbasan FK's Bajram Lamçja got control of the ball when Neritian Istrefi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Klesti Spaho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bajram Lamçja having to interfere. A collision led to Durrësi SKsfd getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Neritian Llakmani hit a great ball. Kliti Diko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Klesti Spaho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Neritian Istrefi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bajram Lamçja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Kapaj in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Elbasan FK's Bajram Lamçja got control of the ball when Klesti Spaho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Durrësi SKsfd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neritian Llakmani to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Debatik Zogu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Durrësi SKsfd's Ruben Nasti. Ruben Nasti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elbasan FK's Bajram Lamçja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Elbasan FK from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the game, Klesti Spaho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bajram Lamçja. Klesti Spaho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Bajram Lamçja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klesti Spaho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Debatik Zogu took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Nasti. Ruben Nasti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 47 minutes into the match, Elbasan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kliti Diko came free, but Bajram Lamçja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Klesti Spaho made the kick off in the second half. Durrësi SKsfd's Qatip Nufi got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruben Nasti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Engjëll Malko in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elbasan FK's goalkeeper Bajram Lamçja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Stefan Kapaj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Elbasan FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Bajram Lamçja went to the wrong direction when Klesti Spaho was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the referee ended the match the Durrësi SKsfd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
