Eduard Kyçyku helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Maqellarë booed when KF Tirana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Kyçyku didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çimi Demaci charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çimi Demaci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mërgim Kita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maqellarë's supporters rose to their feet, but Mërgim Kita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dritan Vërçuni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Driten Shelgu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Maqellarë's Meti Qyra got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 71 played minutes Maqellarë got a freekick which was hit by Mërgim Kita. Sidni Nikolla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Driten Shelgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Sadikllari struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KF Tirana eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
