The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hysen Zhuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Minir Koçi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zef Hamzallari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nard Lushi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avdi Korani, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes, Irjat Simoni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fajza KS and the Dhivërsad players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fajza KS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Irjat Simoni hit a great ball. Hysen Zhuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Minir Koçi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hysen Zhuta ran back to his position shaking his head. Hysen Zhuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minir Koçi having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Fajza KS's goalkeeper Minir Koçi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hysen Zhuta. Fajza KS's Minir Koçi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Gega in the 27th minute of play. Adem Dedej recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Hysen Zhuta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dhivërsad's supporters rose to their feet, but Hysen Zhuta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Minir Koçi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fajza KS's Irjat Simoni got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Irjat Simoni off the ground. A collision led to Fajza KS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Irjat Simoni hit a great ball. Fajza KS's Minir Koçi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Gega in the 40th minute of play. Hysen Zhuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fajza KS's zone, Hilmi Treska stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Minir Koçi came out of the goal and Hilmi Treska tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Adem Dedej came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Dhivërsad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adem Dedej couldn't finish the play. If Isak Gega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes, Anton Mile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fajza KS and the Dhivërsad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adem Dedej's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Minir Koçi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hysen Zhuta in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Minir Koçi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hysen Zhuta in the 85th minute of play forced Fajza KS's goalkeeper Minir Koçi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isak Gega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Minir Koçi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hysen Zhuta in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Dhivërsad players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
