After 4 minutes, Amir Spirollari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zall-Herr and the FC Partizan Tirana players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zall-Herr getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Amir Spirollari hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claude Theron in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nevruz Baba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nevruz Baba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dashamir Januzaj in the 7th minute of play. When Claude Theron came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the FC Partizan Tirana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claude Theron couldn't finish the play. Nevruz Baba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Strener in the 11th minute. 11 minutes into the game, FC Partizan Tirana's Harald Strener nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nevruz Baba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 19th match minute, FC Partizan Tirana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enerik Berishaj to maneuver through the defense. Nevruz Baba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dashamir Januzaj in the 21st minute of the match. Zall-Herr's Nevruz Baba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Theron in the 27th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Harald Strener dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nevruz Baba, 3-0. Nevruz Baba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dashamir Januzaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zall-Herr's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Claude Theron 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. He was immediately shown a red card. 47 minutes into the game, one of Zall-Herr:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 51 minutes, FC Partizan Tirana's Enerik Berishaj got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nevruz Baba. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claude Theron to strike the kick off in the second half. Nevruz Baba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dashamir Januzaj in the 57th minute of play.
