With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tosun Bakalli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kıraç Ak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Mançellari in the 13th minute of the match. Hasan Mançellari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kıraç Ak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Harald Strener came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the FC Partizan Tirana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Strener couldn't finish the play. After having played for 19 minutes, Claude Theron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Partizan Tirana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Theron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC Prishtina Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tosun Bakalli should have stopped the shot. FC Partizan Tirana's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
