But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvin Tabaku couldn't finish the play. Zani Allamani hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Kajan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zani Allamani to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joan Pepa got free with Basilio Llanos in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the KF Valbona defense, Ulysses Dennison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Llanos. The KF Valbona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Llanos should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio da Silveira in the 27th minute of play forced KF Valbona's goalkeeper Basilio Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stiven Karapici was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in KF Valbona fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! In the 34th minute Nuredin Veliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Llanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes KF Valbona got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Tabaku. With a little luck, KF Valbona's Basilio Llanos got control of the ball when Caio da Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caio da Silveiras short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Basilio Llanos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armend Paloka in the 45th minute of play forced KF Valbona's goalkeeper Basilio Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Edvin Tabaku managed to get in a good position for a shot. KF Valbona's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvin Tabaku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erin Muslimi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Basilio Llanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joan Pepa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joan Pepa in the 59th minute of play forced KF Valbona's goalkeeper Basilio Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hajdar Tepelena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Erin Muslimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvin Tabaku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armend Paloka hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Edvin Tabaku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kajan's Erin Muslimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Tabaku in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvin Tabaku got free with Erin Muslimi in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Hajdar Tepelena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erin Muslimi. That made the score 2-1 in the 89 minute of play. Basilio Llanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio da Silveira in the 93rd minute of the match. Nuredin Veliu struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Basilio Llanos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kajan. Kajan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
