An unexpectedly hard shot by Keith Spacey in the 4th minute of play forced Fnatic FC's goalkeeper Craig Haywood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bradley Carlick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Bradley Carlick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Craig Haywood. Fnatic FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bradley Carlick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rob Froggatt hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match Kristopher Sykes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Craig Haywood showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Porto's zone, Joe Whitmore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Way came out of the goal and Joe Whitmore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bradley Carlick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shaun Horseman struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Craig Haywood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keith Spacey in the 35th minute of play forced Fnatic FC's goalkeeper Craig Haywood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Keith Spacey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Craig Haywood was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradley Carlick in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Craig Haywood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bradley Carlick struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Craig Haywood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porto. Keith Spacey scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Craig Haywood, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Fnatic FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Porto were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joe Whitmore to strike the kick off in the second half. Kenny Way took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean Locking, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Davies's late challenge caught a Porto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Davies helped the player get up and apologised. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Craig Haywood successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Craig Haywood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Carlick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Craig Haywood didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keith Spacey went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Dean Locking had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Porto's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
