Charlie Mead tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Noble kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Charlie Mead made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Marston in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tigres De Andorra FC's Damian Inman got a free kick in the 21st minute. Charlie Mead took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Leather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bob Leather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Mead having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Damian Inman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes, Skipton's Kyle Ashton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Charlie Mead came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skipton reached it. In the 32nd minute of the match Martin Noble sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basil Cornish skillfully saved the ball. Tigres De Andorra FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barney Vaughan in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Patrick Marston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skipton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Basil Cornish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Bradfield in the 41st minute of play. Christian Farmer charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Farmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute of the match, Simon Bradfield tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Basil Cornish saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th minute Bob Leather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Mead saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skipton's Johnnie Worth suffered a concussion after 48 minutes and had to leave the field. Kevin Freeman charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Freeman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tigres De Andorra FC's Kevin Freeman got a free kick in the 49th minute. Skipton's Kyle Ashton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tigres De Andorra FC. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Marston to make the kick off. Bob Leather could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Charlie Mead made a huge save. Drew Vaughn kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Marston got free with Charlie Mead in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee gave Tigres De Andorra FC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Barney Vaughan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Skipton's Basil Cornish. 1-1. 75 minutes into the game, Damian Inman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tigres De Andorra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skipton the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Tigres De Andorra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Inman to maneuver through the defense. Basil Cornish showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Bradfield in the 85th minute of the match. Skipton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
