After a defensive mix-up in Sidmouth's zone, Cody Coote stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cliff Higgins came out of the goal and Cody Coote tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Stefan Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Vinnie Winterbine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zack Halliwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Bennett might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zack Halliwell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Bennett ran back to his position shaking his head. Sidmouth's Cliff Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Sidmouth from getting a goal against them. Stefan Bennett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zack Halliwell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Walter Beck kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Jim Milton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sidmouth and the Associazione Calcio Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sidmouth's Jim Milton got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sidmouth's goalkeeper Cliff Higgins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Associazione Calcio Milan's Zack Halliwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinnie Winterbine in the 47th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinnie Winterbine in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zack Halliwell saved Associazione Calcio Milan from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 58 played minutes Associazione Calcio Milan got a freekick which was hit by Walter Beck. 61 minutes into the match, Sidmouth's Vinnie Winterbine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zack Halliwell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley Crawshaw during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zack Halliwell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sid Flynn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cliff Higgins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Garth Boston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cliff Higgins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cody Coote's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Bennett got free with Zack Halliwell in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vinnie Winterbine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cliff Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Flynn in the 74th minute of the match. When Jim Milton was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Sidmouth's Jim Milton got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cody Coote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Higgins having to interfere. Sidmouth's Cliff Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cody Coote in the 83rd minute of play. Vinnie Winterbine hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Calvin Leyburn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cliff Higgins. Sidmouth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cliff Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sid Flynn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Associazione Calcio Milan's Zack Halliwell got control of the ball when Stefan Bennett tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zack Halliwell made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Stefan Bennett sent off a good shot on target.
