Spectators: 8464 (Terracing: 6349, Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 169) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Will Le Tissier kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Britton in the 3rd minute of play forced Titan's goalkeeper Clive Spink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Al Beattie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Don Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bromyard's Jerry Britton got a free kick in the 10th minute. Luke Farmer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Don Martinez. Bromyard's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Will Le Tissier in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Don Martinez saved Bromyard from getting behind. Don Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Al Beattie in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Will Le Tissier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Titan's Denzil Barr got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Titan's Will Le Tissier in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bromyard's goalie prevented a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Bromyard's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Glanvill came free, but Don Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurence Dewhirst got free with Clive Spink in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the game, Jerry Britton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Clive Spink was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clive Spink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Britton, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Daryl Mowlem was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 37th minute, Don Styles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Don Martinez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Don Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Le Tissier in the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerry Britton to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Bromyard's Jerry Britton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clive Spink made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Clive Spink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daryl Mowlem in the 59th minute of the match. Jerry Britton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Le Tissier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Don Martinez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Bromyard's Don Martinez got control of the ball when Will Le Tissier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Al Beattie struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Don Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titan. Titan's Clive Spink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daryl Mowlem in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Will Le Tissier in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Don Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luke Glanvill came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Titan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luke Glanvill couldn't finish the play. Al Beattie struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Don Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titan. Don Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Will Le Tissier in the 84th minute. Clive Spink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daryl Mowlem in the 86th minute of play. Donny Grantham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clive Spink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Britton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Titan's Luke Glanvill got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Daryl Mowlem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clive Spink. Titan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daryl Mowlem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
