In the 7thth minute of the game Bobby Marriott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turno Noche's Alexander Furniss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Steve Warrender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ronan Chilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15thth minute of the game Bobby Marriott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turno Noche's Alexander Furniss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Turno Noche's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bobby Marriott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Russ Pullen took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Furniss. Alexander Furniss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bobby Marriott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simone Zaza in the 47th minute of play forced Turno Noche's goalkeeper Alexander Furniss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Furniss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Marriott in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bobby Marriott to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Victor Tucker took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Alexander Furniss to make any attempt to save it. Turno Noche's Alexander Furniss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Turno Noche from getting a goal against them. Victor Tucker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Furniss having to make a save. Alexander Furniss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Tucker in the 95th minute of play. Valencia CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
