Amri Solihin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stewart Endean, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute Stewart Endean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amri Solihin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fred Cooke came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Stamford United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Cooke couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Stewart Endean notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Westcliff on Sea's Amri Solihin. Amri Solihin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute, Fred Cooke made a precise shot to the right of Amri Solihin. But to his dismay, Stewart Endean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Mathias Hammarberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Nathan Pringle to make any attempt to save it. Mathias Hammarberg scored 4-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nathan Pringle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Gacki in the 38th minute of play forced Stamford United's goalkeeper Nathan Pringle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Hammarberg got free with Nathan Pringle in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-3. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathias Hammarberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Nathan Pringle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Hammarberg in the 52nd minute of the match. Teobald Gacki scored 5-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nathan Pringle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Westcliff on Sea's Amri Solihin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stewart Endean in the 56th minute of play. Amri Solihin made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Stewart Endean sent off a good shot on target. Mathias Hammarberg took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nathan Pringle. Nathan Pringle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-4. Nathan Pringle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Gacki in the 81st minute of play. Ged Coates's late challenge caught a Westcliff on Sea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ged Coates helped the player get up and apologised. Ged Coates kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play, Westcliff on Sea's Teobald Gacki made it 8-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nathan Pringle was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Stewart Endean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stamford United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-5. Stamford United's Nathan Pringle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Gacki in the 97th minute of play.
