Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Steve Haskell got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ross Townsend managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morpeth's supporters rose to their feet, but Ross Townsend was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Syd East breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lance Norfolk's late challenge caught a Radio Andorra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lance Norfolk helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Haskell in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Warren Ford saved Morpeth from getting behind. Warren Ford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Haskell in the 12th minute of play. Bill Seward received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Warren Ford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralph Gough's late challenge caught a Radio Andorra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralph Gough helped the player get up and apologised. Ralph Gough hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Steve Haskell came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Radio Andorra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Haskell couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Rhys Barfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steve Haskell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Ford having to interfere. A collision led to Morpeth getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ralph Gough hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steve Haskell in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Warren Ford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 minutes, Steve Haskell made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Morpeth's Warren Ford tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Morpeth got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Gough. Philip Bird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Syd East showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Bird in the 58th minute of the match. Syd East showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Bird, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Steve Haskell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Ford having to interfere. Johnathon Smith hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes, Leroy Drake mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Radio Andorra and the Morpeth players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Philip Bird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Bird took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Syd East. Syd East dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Radio Andorra getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leroy Drake hit a great ball. Quentin Bean missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 76 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Syd East right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Radio Andorra's zone, Philip Bird stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Syd East came out of the goal and Philip Bird tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steve Haskell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Warren Ford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Morpeth's zone, Rhys Barfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warren Ford came out of the goal and Rhys Barfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steve Haskell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bill Seward hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Steve Haskell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Ford having to interfere. Radio Andorra were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
