After a defensive mix-up in Padiham's zone, Owen Cousens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trev Parsons came out of the goal and Owen Cousens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Zack Seaward hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Haskells short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Trev Parsons to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Radio Andorra's Bill Seward got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trev Parsons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Haskell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 37 minutes, Steve Haskell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radio Andorra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Haskell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steve Haskell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Trev Parsons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phillip Rose succeeded in the game's 47th minute to get real power on a long shot . Padiham's Trev Parsons hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 3-0! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Adam Gold made the kick off in the second half. Radio Andorra's Syd East played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Gold in the 57th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Adam Gold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Padiham and the Radio Andorra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bill Seward struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Trev Parsons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Radio Andorra. 70 minutes into the match, Steve Haskell notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Padiham's Trev Parsons. Trev Parsons was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bill Seward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Steve Haskell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rhys Barfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Radio Andorra's supporters rose to their feet, but Rhys Barfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trev Parsons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steve Haskell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trev Parsons read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Joshua Cordingley charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Cordingley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joshua Cordingley kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Steve Haskell made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Padiham's Trev Parsons tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 98 minutes into the match, Padiham's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Haskell came free, but Trev Parsons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radio Andorra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
