After a rather tough play, Dorchester FC's Jon Granville got a free kick in the 4th minute. Mathias Hammarberg struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Teobald Gacki scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Calum Walsh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 14 played minutes Westcliff on Sea got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Butcher. In the 15th minute, Matthew Dearden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Mathias Hammarberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dorchester FC's Calum Walsh. Calum Walsh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Teobald Gacki sped through Dorchester FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calum Walsh. Calum Walsh came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Westcliff on Sea's Mathias Hammarberg. But to his dismay, Mathias Hammarberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Teobald Gacki struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mathias Hammarberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westcliff on Sea's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Hammarberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calum Walsh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jon Granville charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon Granville the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jon Granville hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Keith Wadham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Amri Solihin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teobald Gacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Calum Walsh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zack Morley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Mathias Hammarberg put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Calum Walsh. In the 57th minute Teobald Gacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calum Walsh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Hammarberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Dorchester FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calum Walsh should have stopped the shot. Darryl Ansell charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Dorchester FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teobald Gacki 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. Calum Walsh was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Teobald Gacki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teobald Gacki really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. After 89 played minutes Dorchester FC got a freekick which was hit by Jon Granville. Mathias Hammarberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calum Walsh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Hammarberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Calum Walsh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobald Gacki's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Teobald Gacki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Walsh having to interfere. Zack Morley hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Teobald Gacki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westcliff on Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobald Gacki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Westcliff on Sea played a much better game than Dorchester FC and deserved their victory. The Dorchester FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
