The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amri Solihin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Housham, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Westcliff on Sea's Oliver Butcher got a free kick in the 7th minute. Keanu Hopker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobald Gacki in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Teobald Gacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keanu Hopker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Higinio Iliana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westcliff on Sea and the BCV Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Westcliff on Sea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Iliana to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Bart Chipperfield sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amri Solihin skillfully saved the ball. Amri Solihin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ged Taylor in the 16th minute. After some careless play in the BCV Team defense, Mathias Hammarberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keanu Hopker. The tension between the BCV Team and the Westcliff on Sea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donny Phippard kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Stuart Frampton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keanu Hopker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Stuart Frampton took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keanu Hopker. Keanu Hopker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Gacki in the 32nd minute of play forced BCV Team's goalkeeper Keanu Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Paine kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Stuart Frampton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keanu Hopker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to BCV Team getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sebastien Stockdale hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Howard Briggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keanu Hopker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BCV Team booed when Westcliff on Sea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Hammarberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathias Hammarberg made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, BCV Team's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Briggs came free, but Keanu Hopker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, BCV Team's Keanu Hopker got control of the ball when Mathias Hammarberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. BCV Team's Keanu Hopker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Ansell in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, BCV Team's goalkeeper Keanu Hopker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Hammarberg. In the 59th minute, Curtis Harding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Hammarberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Keanu Hopker firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 63rd minute Howard Briggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keanu Hopker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Keanu Hopker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Keanu Hopker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teobald Gacki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. After 76 played minutes BCV Team got a freekick which was hit by Damon England. 83 minutes into the match, Teobald Gacki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keanu Hopker. BCV Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobald Gacki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The supporters of Westcliff on Sea booed when BCV Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damon England didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Mathias Hammarberg notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of BCV Team's Keanu Hopker. Keanu Hopker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The BCV Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Westcliff on Sea were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
