A collision led to Dinamo Tropez getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Deon York hit a great ball. Kenny Peacock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trev Parsons having to interfere. Teddy Brookes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Almond in the 14th minute of the match. If Charles Cornish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Kenny Peacock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trev Parsons was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Dinamo Tropez booed when Padiham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miles Shipley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinamo Tropez's Deon York couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Padiham. After having played for 26 minutes, Charles Cornish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Tropez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Cornish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Max Sykes struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Teddy Brookes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padiham. Teddy Brookes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronnie Church in the 36th minute of the match. Dinamo Tropez's Deon York got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Deon York off the ground. In the 44th match minute, Dinamo Tropez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deon York to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Adam Gold made the kick off in the second half. Adam Gold was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Padiham's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Charles Cornish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Charles Cornish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Tropez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Cornish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trev Parsons came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Tropez's Charles Cornish. But to his dismay, Charles Cornish quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 73 minutes into the match, Charles Cornish had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trev Parsons. Padiham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Cornish was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 78 minutes into the game, Kenny Peacock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dinamo Tropez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Padiham the free kick. The supporters of Padiham booed when Dinamo Tropez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Peacock didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Padiham's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Cornish came free, but Trev Parsons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jason Saxton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trev Parsons read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Adam Gold scored 3-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teddy Brookes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dinamo Tropez fans cheered their team off the field, for while Padiham had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
