Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduard Dășanu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santa Tecla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CA Piratas's Birant Kayrar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Floyd in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC St. Pauli Andorra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Trevor Lincoln was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Piratas's players had a chance to rest. Eduard Dășanu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Birant Kayrar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Floyd in the 38th minute of play.
