The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of CA Piratas booed when Undertakers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vit Boll didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes Undertakers got a freekick which was hit by Paul Reeve. After 7 minutes of play, CA Piratas's Giannis Antetokounmpo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Pelayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Undertakers's Clodoveo Malsepica in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CA Piratas's goalie prevented a goal. Scott Le Saux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, CA Piratas's Bernardo Pelayo threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denis Drăgoescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When CA Piratas's Giannis Antetokounmpo, in the 22nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for CA Piratas. In the 27th minute Scott Le Saux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birant Kayrar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Dășanu in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CA Piratas's Eduard Dășanu got a free kick in the 31st minute. Scott Le Saux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birant Kayrar having to interfere. CA Piratas's Birant Kayrar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Malsepica in the 41st minute of play. Birant Kayrar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Malsepica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 48 minutes CA Piratas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ildefonso Lima who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Undertakers's corner Ildefonso Lima fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Birant Kayrar quite easily take care of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Scott Le Saux was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Scott Le Saux sped through CA Piratas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Birant Kayrar. 60 minutes into the match, Undertakers's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Dășanu came free, but Bernardo Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Blowman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Scott Le Saux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Undertakers's supporters rose to their feet, but Scott Le Saux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birant Kayrar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Dășanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute Giannis Antetokounmpo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Undertakers's Ildefonso Lima tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Denis Drăgoescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bernardo Pelayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th match minute, CA Piratas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Blowman to maneuver through the defense.
