After 18 played minutes Racing Club Canillo got a freekick which was hit by Ray Milburn. 23 minutes into the match, Racing Club Canillo's goal looked a bit too open when Guillem Agulló came free, but Carmelo Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Guillem Agulló ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Orkatz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Zenon Cisek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Pelayo. Undertakers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zenon Cisek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Bernardo Pelayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Clemence in the 40th minute. Guillem Agulló sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Undertakers's Bernardo Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Milburn in the 45th minute of play. Guillem Agulló fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Orkatz having to interfere. If Tom Clemence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tom Clemence came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bernardo Pelayo could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zenon Cisek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Clemence in the 51st minute of play forced Undertakers's goalkeeper Bernardo Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Cisek in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Racing Club Canillo booed when Undertakers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Cisek, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Cisek in the 59th minute of play forced Undertakers's goalkeeper Bernardo Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Zenon Cisek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Clemence in the 83rd minute of play. Racing Club Canillo's Carmelo Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillem Agulló in the 85th minute of play. Ashley Haigh made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ray Milburn. Carmelo Orkatz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guillem Agulló showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-3 in the 92 minute of play. Undertakers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
