If Denys Anischenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 19 minutes, Symon Tarasenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shepetivka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Symon Tarasenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Symon Tarasenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shepetivka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Shepetivka booed when Otschakiw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taras Khrienko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonid Rak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuriy Bobko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gavrylo Sovenko got free in front of the goal in the 31st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vladyslav Vorobets was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Leonid Rak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuriy Bobko in the 35th minute of play. If Denys Anischenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, one of Shepetivka:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Shepetivka. Leonid Rak went to the wrong direction when Illja Tlumak was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuriy Bobko to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Shepetivka's goal looked a bit too open when Yuriy Bobko came free, but Leonid Rak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Denys Anischenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otschakiw's supporters rose to their feet, but Denys Anischenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonid Rak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Yuriy Bobko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Yuriy Bobko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Leonid Rak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yuriy Bobko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Rak having to interfere. If Taras Khrienko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denys Anischenko in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonid Rak saved Shepetivka from getting behind. Leonid Rak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuriy Bobko in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Yuriy Bobko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonid Rak was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 87th minute, Denys Anischenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otschakiw fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Leonid Rak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuriy Bobko in the 95th minute of play. Yuriy Bobko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Otschakiw were the better team. Otschakiw's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
