Yevgen Sautin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marjan Shovkovskyi's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by PFC Sumy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olexandr Shulyak was slow to take the kick. During this time TİGER FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Olexandr Shulyak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yevgen Sautin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marjan Shovkovskyi in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yevgen Sautin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 22 minutes, Petro Muravskyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PFC Sumy and the TİGER FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yevgen Sautin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marjan Shovkovskyi in the 33rd minute. If Marjan Shovkovskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yevgen Sautin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oleg Dolotko in the 41st minute of the match. Nazariy Rogalyov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With 46 minutes on the clock, Marjan Polivanov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 46th minute, one of PFC Sumy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PFC Sumy. The referee gave TİGER FC a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olexandr Shulyak, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PFC Sumy's Yevgen Sautin. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valeriy Gabovda was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Marjan Shovkovskyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, PFC Sumy's goal looked a bit too open when Marjan Shovkovskyi came free, but Yevgen Sautin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yevgen Sautin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marjan Shovkovskyi in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to TİGER FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Olexandr Shulyak hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marjan Shovkovskyi in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yevgen Sautin saved PFC Sumy from getting behind.
