Bogdan Plekhtyak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khust. If Olexiy Musienko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Rostyslav Mykytin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fanat Metalista's Bogdan Plekhtyak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nazariy Migalatyuk charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nazariy Migalatyuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Fanat Metalista's zone, Rostyslav Mykytin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Plekhtyak came out of the goal and Rostyslav Mykytin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes Khust got a freekick which was hit by Vyacheslav Kovpak. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zakhar Rakovytsja to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Rostyslav Mykytin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khust's supporters rose to their feet, but Rostyslav Mykytin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Plekhtyak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Artem Stezhkovyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fanat Metalista's Bogdan Plekhtyak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rostyslav Mykytin in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Artem Stezhkovyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Khust supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fanat Metalista's performance. The match ended with a win for Fanat Metalista.
