Yarema Mischenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gennadiy Popadyukha, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Rodion Moroz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Grygoriy Gutnikevych. Rodion Moroz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Orest Bondarenko fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hlobyne FC Metalist's protests and gave Orest Bondarenko a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kolomyja booed when Hlobyne FC Metalist was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orest Bondarenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lyubomyr Sytnyk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Grygoriy Gutnikevych came out and tried to block the shot, but Lyubomyr Sytnyk slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 31st minute. Yarema Mischenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mykyta Motuz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grygoriy Gutnikevych made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodion Moroz in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute, Lyubomyr Sytnyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hlobyne FC Metalist's zone, Lyubomyr Sytnyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grygoriy Gutnikevych came out of the goal and Lyubomyr Sytnyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mykyta Motuz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hlobyne FC Metalist's Grygoriy Gutnikevych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taras Lyopa in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Kolomyja getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Taras Lyopa hit a great ball. Orest Bondarenko hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodion Moroz in the 60th minute of play forced Hlobyne FC Metalist's goalkeeper Grygoriy Gutnikevych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kolomyja's Yarema Mischenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mykyta Motuz in the 85th minute of play. When Lyubomyr Sytnyk came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Kolomyja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyubomyr Sytnyk couldn't finish the play. Kolomyja's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
