Pavlo Burdiyan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Эштадиу да Луш. When Yaroslav Leschuk fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EnergoATOM's protests and gave Yaroslav Leschuk a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Platon Kotovenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Эштадиу да Луш's supporters rose to their feet, but Platon Kotovenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavlo Burdiyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 minutes, Platon Kotovenko made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. EnergoATOM's Pavlo Burdiyan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Эштадиу да Луш's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lev Rudyi 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 16th minute, Ariel Heriberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavlo Burdiyan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Pavlo Burdiyan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Platon Kotovenko's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The Эштадиу да Луш fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Эштадиу да Луш's Ariel Heriberto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lev Rudyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Эштадиу да Луш's zone, Bogdan Kremenchutskyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vyacheslav Misjko came out of the goal and Bogdan Kremenchutskyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Platon Kotovenko in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavlo Burdiyan saved EnergoATOM from getting behind. When Эштадиу да Луш's Ariel Heriberto in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EnergoATOM's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Ariel Heriberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavlo Burdiyan was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Pavlo Burdiyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Heriberto in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Эштадиу да Луш were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

EnergoATOM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Kremenchutskyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bogdan Kremenchutskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavlo Burdiyan was a little too slow when Ariel Heriberto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-6. EnergoATOM's Yaroslav Leschuk got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Yaroslav Leschuk off the ground. Yaroslav Leschuk kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Bogdan Kremenchutskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Heriberto in the 81st minute of play forced EnergoATOM's goalkeeper Pavlo Burdiyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Platon Kotovenko notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of EnergoATOM's Pavlo Burdiyan. Pavlo Burdiyan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Эштадиу да Луш's Pavlo Burdiyan threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ariel Heriberto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 93rd minute, Platon Kotovenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ariel Heriberto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pavlo Burdiyan came out and tried to block the shot, but Ariel Heriberto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 94th minute. Эштадиу да Луш's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
