Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Volodymyr Pryadko kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Kyrylo Skoba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. kiev's Jesus Elizardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save kiev from getting a goal against them. In the 6th match minute, kiev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vsevolod Smolyarchuk to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vovchansjk FC Shakhtar booed when kiev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vsevolod Smolyarchuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borys Chopko might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Nazaruk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Borys Chopko ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Vovchansjk FC Shakhtar's Artem Bobal got a free kick in the 10th minute. Oleg Koshelyuk kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Artur Protsyk kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Igor Nazaruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Mintov in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Vovchansjk FC Shakhtar getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Yevgen Grudnenko hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Volodymyr Dobryanskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The kiev fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Vovchansjk FC Shakhtar's zone, Andrey Mintov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Nazaruk came out of the goal and Andrey Mintov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Volodymyr Dobryanskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Artem Bobal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jesus Elizardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half kiev were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kyrylo Skoba made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrey Mintov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Igor Nazaruk. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Volodymyr Pryadko managed to get in a good position for a shot. kiev's supporters rose to their feet, but Volodymyr Pryadko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Nazaruk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. kiev's Oleg Milko was substituted for Volodymyr Dobryanskiy. If Yakiv Kurylko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vsevolod Smolyarchuk struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Igor Nazaruk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for kiev. Yakiv Kurylko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Nazaruk having to make a save. Volodymyr Pryadkos short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Igor Nazaruk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yakiv Kurylko got free with Igor Nazaruk in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tykhon Pavelko kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Yakiv Kurylko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oleg Milko got free with Igor Nazaruk in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Oleg Milko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakiv Kurylko took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Nazaruk. Igor Nazaruk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vsevolod Smolyarchuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Igor Nazaruk made a huge save. kiev's Yakiv Kurylko got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Borys Chopko struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Igor Nazaruk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for kiev. Jesus Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artem Bobal in the 93rd minute of play.
