Stanislav Pyvovarenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavrylo Korolchuk in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Donetsjk's Gavrylo Korolchuk got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gavrylo Korolchuk succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 24th minute, Valeriy Tkachenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Debaljtseve's Mykyta Baranovskyi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. After taking down the ball on Debaljtseve's corner Mykyta Baranovskyi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valeriy Kovalyuk quite easily take care of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Mefodiy Chekh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Valeriy Kovalyuk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maxym Kovtun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valeriy Kovalyuk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Mefodiy Chekh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxym Kovtun struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Valeriy Kovalyuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Debaljtseve. Mefodiy Chekh might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valeriy Kovalyuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mefodiy Chekh ran back to his position shaking his head.

Ruslan Lepyavko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Debaljtseve's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Gavrylo Korolchuk scored to the left of an out of position Stanislav Pyvovarenko, making the score, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nazar Galunjko during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Vladyslav Petrunya fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Debaljtseve's protests and gave Vladyslav Petrunya a yellow card for diving instead. If Gavrylo Korolchuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. When Mefodiy Chekh came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Debaljtseve fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mefodiy Chekh couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Donetsjk's Ruslan Lepyavko got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Mefodiy Chekh made a precise shot to the right of Valeriy Kovalyuk. Donetsjk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Mefodiy Chekh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valeriy Kovalyuk having to make a save. Stanislav Pyvovarenko made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Artem Dremlyuk sent off a good shot on target. The Donetsjk players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
