Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mykola Petrenko got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tykhon Karpenko in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Shlyk saved Romny from getting behind. After some careless play in the Romny defense, Mykola Petrenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Shlyk. The Romny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Shlyk should have stopped the shot. Oleg Velychko struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Yevgen Zavershenyuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romny. After a defensive mix-up in Skadowsk's zone, Oleg Velychko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yevgen Zavershenyuk came out of the goal and Oleg Velychko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yaroslav Kotelyukh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Yevgen Zavershenyuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Oleg Velychko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yevgen Zavershenyuk. The goal made the score 1-1. Yevgen Zavershenyuk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oleg Velychko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skadowsk's goalkeeper Yevgen Zavershenyuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yaroslav Kotelyukh in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yevgen Zavershenyuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oleg Velychko might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yevgen Zavershenyuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oleg Velychko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89thth minute of the game Oleg Velychko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skadowsk's Yevgen Zavershenyuk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Yaroslav Kotelyukh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romny's Yaroslav Kotelyukh got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Oleg Velychko came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Romny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oleg Velychko couldn't finish the play. Artem Kyrylenko charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artem Kyrylenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Skadowsk booed when Romny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Kyrylenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yaroslav Kotelyukh kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Yaroslav Kotelyukh stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Skadowsk's defenders and the ball went out. Romny appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 105th minute, Yaroslav Kotelyukh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romny's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaroslav Kotelyukh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yevgen Zavershenyuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
