Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lyubomyr Ryabchuk got the match started through his kick off. Oleg Velychko struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Nazar Gvozdevych didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romny. Yaroslav Kotelyukh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nazar Gvozdevych having to make a save. When Oleg Velychko came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Romny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oleg Velychko couldn't finish the play. When Romny's Oleg Velychko in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dniprorudne's goalie prevented a goal. Yaroslav Kotelyukh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nazar Gvozdevych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Oleg Velychko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nazar Gvozdevych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oleg Velychko succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Nazar Gvozdevych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Velychko in the 26th minute of play. Nazar Gvozdevych didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oleg Velychko went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Yaroslav Kotelyukh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oleg Velychko scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nazar Gvozdevych, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dniprorudne's Nazar Gvozdevych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oleg Velychko in the 36th minute of play. If Yaroslav Kotelyukh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Oleg Velychko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nazar Gvozdevych was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nazar Gvozdevych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oleg Velychko, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Nazar Gvozdevych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaroslav Kotelyukh in the 46th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Yaroslav Kotelyukh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romny's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaroslav Kotelyukh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nazar Gvozdevych breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The wind increased when Oleg Velychko made the kick off in the second half. Yaroslav Kotelyukh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Dniprorudne defense, Yaroslav Kotelyukh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nazar Gvozdevych. The Dniprorudne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nazar Gvozdevych should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Yaroslav Kotelyukh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romny's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaroslav Kotelyukh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oleg Velychko in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nazar Gvozdevych prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nazar Gvozdevych stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oleg Velychko's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Romny's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
