To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Berdjansjk's Oleg Lemishevskyi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergiy Lepyavko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matviy Pavleschuk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Lyubomyr Shalata skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gennadiy Yurchenko during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Berdjansjk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gennadiy Yurchenko to maneuver through the defense. Matviy Pavleschuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyubomyr Shalata having to interfere. Orest Tovt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyubomyr Shalata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lev Nazarchuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Illja Vovchenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergiy Lepyavko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sergiy Lepyavko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gennadiy Yurchenko in the 33rd minute of play. After 38 played minutes Lev Nazarchuk rounded Berdjansjk's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After 41 played minutes Синій got a freekick which was hit by Roman Bryl. 42 minutes into the match, Berdjansjk's Demjan Lepyavko broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Синій's zone, Illja Vovchenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiy Lepyavko came out of the goal and Illja Vovchenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Illja Vovchenko made the kick off in the second half. After 53rd play minutes Lev Nazarchuk shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Lyubomyr Shalata and just under the crossbar into goal. When Stanislav Chumak fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Синій's protests and gave Stanislav Chumak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Stanislav Chumak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Berdjansjk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lyubomyr Shalata should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Berdjansjk getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Valeriy Prizetko hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Artem Yakhno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berdjansjk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Синій the free kick. After a rather tough play, Berdjansjk's Artem Yakhno got a free kick in the 80th minute. Matviy Pavleschuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lev Nazarchuk struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Lyubomyr Shalata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Синій. Roman Bryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lyubomyr Shalata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orest Tovt in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lyubomyr Shalata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 played minutes Berdjansjk got a freekick which was hit by Gennadiy Yurchenko. Berdjansjk's Gennadiy Yurchenko got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Gennadiy Yurchenko off the ground. A collision led to Berdjansjk getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gennadiy Yurchenko hit a great ball. When Lev Nazarchuk came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Синій fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lev Nazarchuk couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lev Nazarchuk in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lyubomyr Shalata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergiy Lepyavko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oleg Lemishevskyi in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Синій fully deserved thier win.
