Marcelo Barovero was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Aristides Domenec capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristides Domenec really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Aristides Domenec came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the FC Vershina ESPN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Domenec couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, FC Vershina ESPN's Thor Eriksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Barovero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Ruh Lviv's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ruh Lviv from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyprian Gierlach's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Marcelo Barovero had great luck who in the 13thth minute grab hold of the ball when Cyprian Gierlach from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 21st minute of the match, Thor Eriksson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelo Barovero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aristides Domenec's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelo Barovero firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aristides Domenec's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Marcelo Barovero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 31 minutes into the game, Cyprian Gierlach lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Marcelo Barovero. In the 33rd minute Chumo Palmero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles-Antoine Carnevalli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Eriksson in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, FC Vershina ESPN's goal looked a bit too open when Myroslav Akymenko came free, but Charles-Antoine Carnevalli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 43rd minute of play. Duda Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Gierlach came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Myroslav Akymenko made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chumo Palmero got free with Charles-Antoine Carnevalli in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thor Eriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Aristides Domenec made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Barovero. FC Ruh Lviv's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Aristides Domenec got in the 64th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marcelo Barovero handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Marcelo Barovero had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Cyprian Gierlach's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marcelo Barovero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyprian Gierlach went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. FC Ruh Lviv's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Gierlach in the 81st minute of play. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Domenec in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Aristides Domenec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Barovero was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. FC Ruh Lviv's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Domenec in the 90th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Vershina ESPN's Aristides Domenec. But to his dismay, Aristides Domenec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. FC Vershina ESPN's Kostyantyn Migalevsjkyi was substituted for Danko Fuchs.
