With a little luck, FK LVIV's Slavyan Stanulov got control of the ball when Zulfadli Prabaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Slavyan Stanulov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Ternopil's Zulfadli Prabaya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Slavyan Stanulov. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the game, Panas Khursa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK LVIV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ternopil the free kick. In the 15th minute, Panas Khursa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zulfadli Prabaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slavyan Stanulov having to make a save. FK LVIV's Slavyan Stanulov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FK LVIV from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FK LVIV's Panas Khursa got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Zulfadli Prabaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruslan Donets's late challenge caught a FK LVIV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruslan Donets helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Ternopil! Tykhon Polovkov had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Artem Rusol's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 30 minutes into the match, FC Ternopil's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Pokladok came free, but Tykhon Polovkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, FK LVIV's goalkeeper Slavyan Stanulov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zulfadli Prabaya. After a rather tough play, FK LVIV's Panas Khursa got a free kick in the 40th minute. FK LVIV were furious when Volodymyr Bugaychuk was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in FK LVIV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Janno Loorits blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slavyan Stanulov having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zulfadli Prabaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, FK LVIV's Stanislav Sirenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tykhon Polovkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FK LVIV's Slavyan Stanulov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zulfadli Prabaya in the 55th minute of play. Zulfadli Prabaya scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Slavyan Stanulov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zulfadli Prabaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slavyan Stanulov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zulfadli Prabaya ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruslan Donets was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of FK LVIV booed when FC Ternopil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruslan Donets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tykhon Polovkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasyl Olischuk in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Zulfadli Prabaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ternopil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zulfadli Prabaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Ternopil getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Flavio Geofredo hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Zulfadli Prabaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Slavyan Stanulov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zulfadli Prabaya took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Slavyan Stanulov. Slavyan Stanulov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 89th minute Roman Pokladok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tykhon Polovkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91stth minute of the game Flavio Geofredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK LVIV's Slavyan Stanulov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Ternopil were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after FK LVIV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zulfadli Prabaya took the corner. Stasys Balakas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Ternopil fully deserved thier win.
