In the 7th minute Roman Pokladok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriy Ditkovskyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, FK LVIV's Artem Rusol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Valeriy Ditkovskyi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artem Rusol in the 13th minute. FK LVIV's Slavyan Stanulov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyubomyr Gladkyi in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislav Sirenko during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valeriy Ditkovskyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasyl Olischuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Roman Pokladok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valeriy Ditkovskyi. Pyrjatyn FC Chornomorets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Pokladok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Pokladok got free with Valeriy Ditkovskyi in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valeriy Ditkovskyi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artem Rusol in the 29th minute. After 33 played minutes, FK LVIV's Vasyl Olischuk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valeriy Ditkovskyi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK LVIV reached it. Valeriy Ditkovskyi was a little too slow when Roman Pokladok got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, Roman Pokladok dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valeriy Ditkovskyi, 4-0. 47 minutes into the match, Pyrjatyn FC Chornomorets's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Pokladok came free, but Valeriy Ditkovskyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeriy Ditkovskyi was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Roman Pokladok capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roman Pokladok really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lyubomyr Gladkyi to make the kick off. Valeriy Ditkovskyi came out of the goal and Roman Pokladok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Pyrjatyn FC Chornomorets's goal looked a bit too open when Artem Rusol came free, but Valeriy Ditkovskyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeriy Ditkovskyi came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FK LVIV's Roman Pokladok. But to his dismay, Roman Pokladok quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Valeriy Ditkovskyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Pokladok, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to FK LVIV getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Artem Rusol hit a great ball. After 72 minutes Pyrjatyn FC Chornomorets's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vasyl Olischuk who took care of the corner kick. Pyrjatyn FC Chornomorets's Valeriy Ditkovskyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Pokladok in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Pyrjatyn FC Chornomorets got a freekick which was hit by Vasyl Didenko. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Vasyl Olischuk sped through Pyrjatyn FC Chornomorets's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valeriy Ditkovskyi. FK LVIV's Anton Samborskyi was substituted for Zakhar Kostyshyn. In the 89th minute, Roman Pokladok got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valeriy Ditkovskyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasyl Olischuk in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that FK LVIV were the better team. FK LVIV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
